Stone Sour and Slipknot singer Corey Taylor (kinda) answers the rumours surrounding him fronting Velvet Revolver.
A few weeks back, Taylor spoke to Billboard about the rumours that he was to join the rock supergroup Velvet Revolver in Scott Weiland’s absence.
At the time, he merely cackled and said, “To be continued”.
This seemed to be the line he’s sticking to when Undercover spoke to him during his Australian visit with Stone Sour.
When asked the question straight out, he grinned and kept his mouth shut.
He finally laughed and deadpanned, “I gotta be honest, I’m so surprised you asked that question.”
He then conceded, “It is your job, and you know what? I appreciate you doing your job.”
“All I can say at this point is ‘To be continued’,” he said. “And that’s all I’m going to say,” followed by a cheeky wink.
So, no new news, essentially. But some telling behaviour. Check the tone of the answer in the video below.
