While people were beginning to think Battles were a one-album band, they were hard at work creating their second album ‘Gloss Drop’.
After the departure of guitarist Tyondai Braxton last year, the band decided to get to work recruiting guests Gary Numan, Yamantaka Eye of The Boredoms, Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead and Matias Aguayo to help out on the record.
Fans will have to wait a while to get their hands on the record. ‘Gloss Drop’ will hit stores on June 6 via Warp.
