X-Factor winner Altiyan Childs was bashed after his show in Hobart, Tasmania on Sunday night.
Childs had performed at the Derwent Entertainment Centre and then went out to a bar with friends afterwards.
A group of men in the pub started to get abusive calling him “Faggot” and “Wanker” then four men bashed him to the ground.
Childs told the Daily Telegraph that "four big Tassie blokes whacked me and I hit the floor, then two of them got on me.”
The singer suffered multiple bruises.
Police were called but the attackers had fled.
Childs says he is OK.
