Zac and Josh Farro, ex-drummer and guitarist for American rockers Paramore have reunited musically after Zac joined Josh’s band Novel American.
In a statement on the band’s official website, outgoing drummer Tyler Ward gives a number of reasons for leaving, including just finding it “abnormally hard to full connect my passion to the drums and to the project,” and having “a baby on the way” and “non-profit work that I love” while respectfully admitting that “bringing 100% of myself to the band wasn’t always manageable.”
Ward says he has “decided to step away from Novel American and support them from a friendship level,” before saying “please help me officially welcome as the new drummer of Novel American, Zac Farro!”
The band are expected to release an EP soon.
