Stage musical Hairspray will complete its sell-out Melbourne season in May 1 and start making its way to Sydney.
The final Melbourne performance of Hairspray will be on Sunday, May 1, 2011. The musical will then relocate to The Lyric Theatre in Sydney from June 23, 2011.
The David Atkins directed, Jason Coleman choreographed Australian production of Hairspray debuted in Melbourne in September, 2010.
The Australian cast features Jaz Flowers as Tracy Turnblad, Jack Chambers as Link Larkin and Trevor Ashley and Edna Turnblad.
The musical first opened on Broadway in 2002 and has since won 30 major awards.
