Grammy-winners Arcade Fire have announced a world tour – which sadly does not include Australia.
The Canadian band, who picked up the Album Of the Year Grammy to much celebration and some consternation, have revealed almost six months of tour dates around the world.
April is the busiest month, as they barrel across the US from Colorado to California and all points in between, with Local Natives, the National, Okkervil River and Explosions In the Sky supporting at various points.
They finish up their US jaunt by headlining the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee, then perform at a slew of festivals throughout Europe in June and July, appearing in Germany, Croatia, Luxemburg, France, England, Italy, Serbia and Portugal.
This is topped off with a U2 support slot in Canada on July 30.
They take most of August off, then return to play one show in Manchester and another in Edinburgh.
Then... maybe here for the Australian summer?
