Legendary alterna-rock act Died Pretty are reforming for Melbourne’s Cherry Rock.
The band were most active and lauded in the late ‘80s and early-‘90s, delivering classic albums like Doughboy Hollow and Trace.
They reformed to play Doughboy Hollow in full for Don’t Look Back in 2008, and played the Big Day Outs in 2009, but this will be a very very rare gig for them indeed.
They’ll be joined by manic Boston soul-rockers Barrence Whitfield & the Savages, hard rock kings Electric Mary, Brisbane swamp-rock preachers Six Ft Hick and all-girl teen rockers Stonefield.
This is just the beginning of the line-up for 2011’s Cherry Rock extravaganza.
It’ll all happen in AC/DC Lane next to Cherry on May 1.
Tickets are available now through OzTix and the finest independent record stores.
