Fall Out Boy frontman Pete Wentz and singer Ashlee Simpson’s divorce has already been described as “amicable”.
The pair married in 2008, had a son called Bronx, and have recently filed for divorce.
People Magazine are already quoting an insider who is saying the separation is “very amicable”.
The “source close to the couple” said "It's all about Bronx for them. They're fantastic parents – Pete says she's a great mom, and she says he's a great father. It's about Bronx's care and well-being and happiness for them.”
The source continued, "They're both really sad. It's a sad ending to something that was really promising. They're each trying to figure out what this transition is going to be like."
Wentz is currently touring with his new project Blackcards, but has still found time to tweet sweet nothings to his soon to be ex-wife.
On Tuesday, the day they announced their divorce, he tweeted “Dont forget 2 notice-when i look into the lil dudes eyes & smile, the way he loves. i realize @ashsimpsonwentz is a good moma + so much more”
