While younger Gallagher brother Liam moves ahead with his new band Beady Eye, Noel is taking his time with his planned solo album.
Gallagher told U.K. digital radio station Talksport “I am not recording new stuff, not just yet," he said. "It'll be out when it's finished I guess. Well, I've not even started it, so I don't know.”
He also said that fans shouldn’t hold their breath. The record is on its way, but he added “I’d have thought probably if anything comes out it’ll be later rather than sooner.”
In the meantime, Liam’s band Beady Eye (which is essentially a Noel-less Oasis) will release their debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘ at the end of February, 2011, recorded with Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Pogues, The Smiths) at the helm.
