The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame prepares their new Warped exhibit.
Warped is the United States' longest running touring festival, coming up to twelve years of punk rock chaos. Late last year the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Ohio announced that it would present the exhibition 'Warped: 12 Years of Music, Mayhem and More' honouring the roadshow from January 27 until September 3.They have promised memorabilia from featured acts No Doubt, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, NOFX, New Found Glory, My Chemical Romance, Joan Jett, Dropkick Murphys, Bouncing Souls, Rancid, Helmet and more. When the exhibit ends, the items will be put in a time capsule, to be displayed for another six months in 25 years time.
The opening night party on January 26 is set to feature Warped perennials Pennywise, Bouncing Souls and Bad Religion, with newcomers Paramore and Street Drum Corps. The Used were previously scheduled to help open the exhibition but have cancelled due to illness. Of course, the opening night event is already sold out.
