A pop princess and a punk pop star have tied the knot. Avril Lavigne has married Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley.
The pop pair started going out together in 2004 and announced their engagement in Venice, Italy in 2005.Both Avril and Sum 41 are working on new albums. Just last week, Whibley told fans at the Sum 41 website that "we're still just working on new songs for the record. Everything is going very well. Steve and I are practicing in LA every week. We shot some video of us rehearsing the other day."
Avril is close to completing her third album. She also recently was the voice of Heather the possum in the animated movie 'Over The Hedge'.
