Eminem's songs won’t be on Glee, but he will appear on Dr Dre’s new single.
Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has been dishing the dirt lately. First he started a fight with Kings Of Leon and now he says that Eminem’s music was too expensive to license.
He said the price of $200,000 to license ‘Lose Yourself’ was “jaw-droppingly expensive”.
He continued, “We couldn’t do it because the episode would’ve been so over budget.”
There are no such problems for Dr Dre, of course. He’ll have Eminem guesting on his new single ‘I Need A Doctor’.
The song will also feature singer Skylar Grey and has been produced by Alex Da Kid.
‘I Need A Doctor’ will be released on February 1 as the first single from Dre’s long-awaited Detox album, which he has hinted will be released on April 20 – the unofficial National Weed Day in the US.
