Norwegian musician Sondre Loche will showcase at SXSW this year.
Lerche, best known for his soundtrack for the Steve Carell movie ‘Dan In Real Life’ will be back to play in Austin.
Sondre Lerche completed a new album late last year. Kato Adland and Nicolas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Spoon) produced the album. Expect a release date for around SXSW.
Sondre released his first album ‘Faces Down’ in 2001 but the career took off in the USA in 2007 when his original soundtrack to the Steve Carell movie became a big hit.
Lerche was also at SXSW in 2010 where he was one of the artists who took part in the Big Star tribute for Alex Chilton.
SXSW is on in Austin, Texas from March 16-20, 2010.
