It's been four years, but Scottish folkies Travis are recording a new album to be released towards the end of the year.
According to Drowned in Sound, the album is likely to be titled 'Open' and will feature a guest performance from fellow Scot, K.T. Tunstall.Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Paul McCartney) has been producing the record.
Travis' last album was 2003's '12 Memories'. Their 1999 album 'The Man Who' was their breakthrough moment spawning hits like 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' and 'Writing To Reach You'.
It went six times platinum in the U.K.
