‘Floodlight’, the Barnes family album to raise funds for flood victims is now selling for less than 5 bucks.

The 16-track album features songs from Jimmy, son David Campbell, daughters Mahalia and EJ, brother John Swan, brother-in-law Diesel and son-in-law Ben Rodgers (The Middle Class).

Jane Barnes rounded up the family for the project as soon as she and Jimmy heard of the Queensland disaster. “Jimmy and I and all the members of our family truly believe that this is simply about a sense of community,” Jane said in a statement. “It is about Australian families helping other Australian families in their time of need in whatever way they can. We are fortunate enough to be able to make and share our music and if we can help the victims of these floods by doing that then it’s a very small price to pay”.

David Campbell did not hesitate to help. “Like most Australian's, once I saw what was happening, I wanted to help. The Floodlights concept was my Dad's idea and it’s our family doing our bit to help other families. I am honoured to be a part of this.”

The album will include three previously unreleased live recordings from Jimmy, David and Mahalia and a sneak preview of a song from the next Diesel album.

The 'Floodlight' album is now available for $4.99 via iTunes.
