Doctors have been forced to amputate glamorous actress Zsa Zsa Gabor’s right leg after it became infected with gangrene.
Gabor has been in and out of hospital several times after breaking her hip in July, but this time it was serious. After failed attempts at treating the infection with antibiotics, doctors decided to amputate.
The Mirror reports that she is in hospital in Los Angeles being kept on morphine and that she isn’t aware that she has had the operation yet.
Zsa Zsa Gabor was born in Hungary on February 6, 1917. Her first film, ‘Lovely To Look At‘ was released in 1952. After that she made a name for herself in both comedy and drama.
