Coldplay’s Chris Martin has described his band’s next album as being about “love, addiction [and] OCD”.
The singer was speaking to BBC’s Radio 1 when he talked about the band’s upcoming fifth album, but denied it was going to be a concept album, instead he described it as a “thinly veiled account of what happens within the group.”
“It’s supposed to be about life, the good stuff and the bad stuff. Everything,” Martin added.
The album will be due out later this year and was produced by Brian Eno (U2, Peter Gabriel) and Markus Dravs (Bjork, Arcade Fire).
