Former Janes Addiction/Porno for Pyros frontman Perry Farrell will unveil a previously unreleased Jim Morrison performance on his upcoming project 'Ultra Payloaded Satellite Party.
The rarely heard Morrison track 'Woman In The World' will be the first unheard Morrison track in more than 30 years.Morrison is head singing "Just try and stop us, we're going to love" against the backdrop of the Farrell composed music.
'Ultra Payloaded Satellite Party' will feature an all-star line-up. Contributors include Flea and John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, Peter Hook from New Order, the Thievery Corporation and Perry's former bandmate Peter DiStefano from Porno for Pyros.
'Ultra Paynoaded Satellite Party' was three years in the making. The album is being used as a fundraiser for Stop Global Warming and Global Cool and the content of the songs reflect the needs of the beneficiaries.
The album will be released on May 15, 2007. Farrell will debut the songs live on January 25th in Aspen, Colorado as part of the 2007 Winter X-Games.
