Paul Simon has a Christmas present for you. It’s a new song titled ‘Getting Ready For Christmas Day’.
The song is the first taste of his next album ‘So Beautiful Or So What’ coming early 2011.
That other voice you hear in ‘Getting Ready For Christmas Day’ is Reverend J.M. Gates, recorded in 1941, an American Christian preacher and singer who died in 1945. The Gates’ memorial service had the largest crowd ever for a memorial service.
‘So Beautiful Or So What’ will be the first studio album from Paul Simon since 2006’s ‘Surprise’.
