X Factor winner Altiyan Childs’ has debuted at number 8 on the ARIA Charts with only 3 days of sales.
‘Somewhere In The World’, the debut single from Childs sold 15,706 units after going on sale at 10pm last Monday night.
The ARIA chart tracks physical and digital sales from Friday to Thursday. Child’s figure missed the first four days of the chart week but still scored him at top 10 debut.
Last week he filmed the video for the single. This week he is in Melbourne recording his self-titled album for release on December 10, 2010.
