The Grammy Award-winning US folk duo plan an Australian visit in April 2011.
Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have spent two decades bringing harmonic folk to tiny clubs and huge festivals.
They’ve sold over 12 million records and have been nominated for seven Grammys.
Their latest album, Staring Down The Brilliant Dream, is a 31-song, double-disc celebration of their live prowess, capturing performances from 2006 to 2009.
And in 2011, they bring those songs to Australia at the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay, and around the nation.
Tickets to the solo shows go on sale Wednesday 1 December.
