Canadian hardcore metal band Silverstein has signed a new record contract directly with Roadrunner Records Australia.
Silverstein left their long-time label Victory Records this year. They had been with Victory since their first album ‘When Broken Is Easily Fixed’ from 2003.
Singer Shane Told said, “Australia is our absolute favourite place to travel, tour, eat, hang out and hold koalas so we thought we should get the best possible label to put out our record there. That’s why we went with Roadrunner”.
Silverstein will be on the Soundwave line-up in 2011. The new record is expected mid year.
