Prog kings Cog stick to tradition and hook up a Christmas show in Sydney.
There were whispers that the lauded modern rock conjurers were done and dusted, and they’ve been pretty quiet for the last six months.
But, as per their annual tradition, the band have set up a festive gig at the Coogee Bay Hotel in Sydney for December 22.
They’ll be brining Central Coast post-hardcore kids After The Fall and Melbourne’s Overreactor, a new punk-metal project from Ezekiel Ox and Cory Bright.
Cog have been laying low since their gold-selling, number two debut Sharing Space, although their The Sound of Three: 12 Years With You DVD of this year kept them afloat.
That said, they do have some Chrissy warm up shows in Melbourne’s outer suburban hamlets Ferntree Gully and Frankston.
Tickets for Cog’s Christmas show are on sale now.
