Pirates of the Caribbean director Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that Rolling Stones guitarist will play the part of Teague Sparrow, the father of Jack Sparrow in the third installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.
Richards has been talked about for role for a number of years, ever since Johnny Depp, who plays the lead role of Jack Sparrow, announced that he modeled his character of Keith's mannerisms.Although Richards will be in the movie, his part is expected to be minor, akin to Madonna's cameo in Die Another Day.
'Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End' is expected to debut for the Christmas season of 2007.
