Super-fun San Diego indie scrappers Wavves announce four headlining shows to accompany Golden Plains.
The band (essentially Nathan Williams with a couple of ringers) released one of the most enjoyable albums of this year, King Of The Beach, jam-packed with sunny, sing-songy and scungy indie punk.
It was perfect when it came out in the North American summer, and now we get to see them in their favoured season Down Under.
They’ll drop into Golden Plains (alongside Hawkwind, Belle & Sebastian, Joanna Newsom, The Hold Steady and more), but surround it with shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
Gold Coast scuzz-punk duo Bleeding Knees Club will join them for all dates.
