When George Michael was sentenced to a period in jail, Sony made the decision to temporarily shelve a special, remastered version of his 1987 album Faith. Now that enough time has passed, the album has been put back on the schedule for January 31 (Europe) and February 1 (U.S.).
Faith was Michael's debut album as a solo artist after leaving Wham! and firmly established him as a force in the music business. The album produced five hits that have gone on to be standards in the singer's catalog, Father Figure, One More Try, Faith, Kissing a Fool and I Want Your Sex.
