A woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by Gene Simmons felt "like she was raped with clothes on."
Make-up artist Victoria Jackson claims the KISS rocker ground his groin against her at US sportscaster ESPN's Los Angeles studios, where she was working in November last year, after he had appeared on the network's 'Sportscenter' show.
In May, the 61-year-old bassist filed a lawsuit against Victoria, claiming the spiked black suit of metal and studded leather he wears ' which usually includes a codpiece ' was the "equivalent of a suit of armour," meaning he couldn't have sexually assaulted her as it is too thick.
Victoria responded by issuing her own lawsuit against Gene, seeking over $500,000 in damages.
The make-up artist has told lawyers how she was damaged by the incident, saying she felt: 'Emotionally, an overwhelming sense of sadness, nervousness, anxiety, a lot of shame and - I feel like I was raped with my clothes on."
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, she also described how the incident affected her sleep, adding: ' had a sense of somebody just taking something from me.
"A complete and utter violation, a disrespect for me and my body, myself as a human being."
Gene has asked a judge to have Victoria examined by a psychologist, saying she has made her mental health a relevant issue by claiming damages for emotional distress. Victoria denies this would be necessary, with her lawyers calling it a 'cynical tactic' and an 'attempt to be as intrusive as possible in order to harass and intimidate her."
Victoria's lawsuit alleges the incident took place when Gene approached her, said ' like you' and promptly "humped her to the extent that she could feel his groin grinding into her.'
Another ESPN employee has reportedly supported her version of events saying Gene 'made a bee line straight for her and then started humping her".
According to court documents, the rocker's own defence is that he does not recall "hugging or even meeting Victoria and he goes on to insist he 'would never do such a thing.'
A hearing on the motion to compel the mental health examination is set for November 3 at Los Angeles Superior Court.
