The forthcoming album from Scottish post-rockers will come with a bonus disc featuring a 26-minute song.
Mogwai’s seventh studio album will be called Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will and will be released on Valentine’s Day next year through their Rock Action label.
It’ll also come with a bonus disc with a 26-minute piece called ‘The Singing Mountain’ which was initially recorded as a companion to a German art installation.
But, as usual, the most fun we get out of a Mogwai album announcement is the song titles.
In addition to the cute album title, the more amusing song titles include ‘Mexican Grand Prix’, ‘George Square Thatcher Death Party’, ‘How To Be A Werewolf’ and the impeccable ‘You’re Lionel Richie’.
They’ll tour the album all over the UK, Europe, the US and Canada from late-January until late-May.
