Tim Finn plans to record a solo album with Kings Of Leon producer Jacquire King.
Following his 2009 North South East West... Anthology album, the Split Enz legend and revered solo artist Tim Finn gets to work on his ninth studio album.
His choice of producer is significant.
Jacquire King is well-known as a Kings Of Leon co-conspirator, winning a Grammy with the band for ‘Use Somebody’ and working on their last few albums.
He’s also worked with Modest Mouse, Tom Waits, Norah Jones and Cold War Kids.
Finn and King will head into Auckland’s Roundhead studio in November, with a release date slated for mid next year.
