‘He Will Have His Way’ has the big names, Jimmy Barnes doing ‘Message To My Girl’, Chris Cheney’ with ‘Distant Sun’ and Darren Hayes on ‘Not Even Close’.
There are also some interesting combinations. The Break (Midnight Oil/Violent Femmes) have their first vocal track with Dan Sultan stepping in to do the Split Enz classic ‘Shark Attack. Paul Kelly’s track is with Julia Stone.
The new names of Oh Mercy, Boy & Bear, Art Vs Science appear Artisan Guns while Paul Dempsey (Something For Kate) and Glenn Richards (Augie March) do it solo.
‘He Will Have His Way’ will be released through EMI on November 12.
