Welsh singer Duffy’s second album is going to have a hip hop tinge to it, the singer has revealed.
In an interview with Newsbeat (on the BBC), Duffy said she wants to “make people move”.
“I played so many live shows that I wanted to feel that we could have a really uptempo gig,” the singer said.
On the album she worked with The Roots, who for the past 20 years have mashed funk and hip hop together, creating a bed for spectacular live shows. The record will also be co-produced by guitar legend Albert Hammond Snr.
The album will be called ‘Endlessly’ and is released at the end of November, with the first single ‘Well, Well, Well’ coming a week earlier.
