Perth’s Institut Polaire are about to release their debut album and to celebrate they’re heading out across the country in support of it.
The band’s adorable light hearted guitar pop is integral to the band’s sound and continues the catchy sound the band committed to tape in 2007 with their ep ‘The Fauna and The Flora’.
If you like Wurlitzers, glockenspiels, dueling banjos, dueling violins, dueling banlins and dueling viojos, you might want to pick up this record when it drops on October 22 (thought Popfrenzy/Inertia).
At very least make sure you get your arse down to one of the following shows:
OCTOBER
16 - The Grace Emily, Adelaide, SA
23 - The Workers Club, Melbourne, VIC
30 - The Rosemount, Perth, WA
NOVEMBER
5 - Spectrum, Sydney, NSW
6 - The Clubhouse, Brisbane, QLD
