Musician and digital media specialist Dan Rosen has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer for ARIA and PPCA.
Melbourne’s Rosen, singer and songwriter with indie band Second Dan, will relocate to Sydney after being based in New York where he was an Executive Vice President for NASDAQ listed Kit Digital, formerly ROO Media.
Rosen is the perfect choice for the job. At ROO he was involved with Undercover’s international operations and the licensing of music for digital streaming.
His background as a musician, lawyer and digital media pioneer will be a great boost to ARIA as it moves forward with coming to term with the new media.
Dan’s background as an independent artist is expected to give ARIA a wider view of the recording industry and help develop and restructure a platform for all recording artists to benefit by.
Dan Rosen will replace Stephen Peach.
