The X Factor might very well be an ex-show next year the way it is rating but at least it finally delivered one entertaining moment this week. An hilarious faux pas from Guy Sebastian.
Guy was describing girl group Mahogany. “I met these girls on a tour that I did a little while ago and they blew me away then they walked into the audition room and blew me again …” Say what?
The blooper went to air live and will no doubt go down (pardon the pun) as one of the funniest mistakes on Aussie TV. It can stand along other Aussie classic moments like the Graham Kennedy crow call, Bert Newton’s line to Mohammad Ali “I like the boy” and Molly’s comment to Prince Charles “I saw your mum” to which Charlie responded in pompous voice “you mean Her Majesty”.
