Over here for the New Year’s festival season, Interpol offer two sideshows.
The New Yorkers just came back with their delectable new self-titled album and excited Australian fans who don’t want to schlep to Falls or Sunset Sounds can catch them in the big smoke.
Sadly, it’s only for Melbournians and Sydneysiders, but isn’t it always the way? West Aussie can catch them at Southbound.
They also have two new members for their live band: David Pajo, who has played with Slint, Will Oldham and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and releases solo albums as Papa M, and Brandon Curtis, who is the vocalist, bassist and keyboardist from Secret Machines.
Tickets will go on sale October 7.
