Justin Tumberlake has admitted he is unsure when he will continue his musical career, preferring instead to focus on acting.
In a recent interview, he said “Does a painter make a painting because he has to make it by December 21st? No, he doesn’t. It happens when it pours out of him,” contactmusic.com reports. “That’s how music is for me. I never stop making music. I don’t know what else to tell you, except that I just don’t know in what capacity I want to be involved anymore. All I’m saying is, in very simple terms, I’ll know when I know. And until I know, I don’t know when I’ll put another album out.”
This does suggest that he does plan on releasing another record, eventually.
Timberlake’s latest movie role is in The Social Network, where he plays Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster and advisor to the creators of Facebook, and later President of the incorporated company.
The film is in cinemas now in the USA, and will hit Australian cinemas on October 28.
