One of Heart’s enigmatic lead singers Nancy Wilson has filed for divorce from her filmmaker and former Rolling Stone editor husband Cameron Crowe.
According to the suit, the pair have been separated since June 2008 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.
Heart had several hits in the late 70s and throughout the 80s including ‘Barracuda’, ‘Crazy On You’ and ‘Heartless’. Their latest album, ‘Red Velvet Car’ debuted at number 10 in the USA recently.
Crowe worked for Rolling Stone magazine where he interviewed the world’s biggest stars before becoming a filmmaker, directing ‘Almost Famous’, ‘Singles’ and ‘Jerry Maguire’ amongst others.
