Industrial music progenitors Einsturzende Neubauten turn 30 and plan to burst eardrums from Europe to North America.
Pitchfork reports that the band will stage special events at some of their dates across the Netherlands, the UK, Finland, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Czech Republic, France, Belgium, the US and Canada from October to December.'They'll surely perform live, destroying minds (and old buildings) with "songs" spanning their three decade career.
But they'll also do "An Evening With"-type events, where they will show films and photos, host workshops, give lectures, and conduct Q&As with their fans.
There will also be individual solo performances.
The band formed in 1980 in West Berlin, and had a hand in redefining what could be considered music, incorporating custom-made instruments made of building materials and industrial tools.
