BIGSOUND will return to Brisbane in 2011 after a record year in 2010.
Both the music conference and the artist showcases sold out for the very first time this year.540 delegates attended the conference in Brisbane's music precinct of Fortitude Valley. 60 acts showcased over two nights.
"BIGSOUND was a great hang, great sounds and great chat,' said Violent Femmes and The Break bass player Brian Ritchie. "BIGSOUND is where the big guns of the music business go for big fun. BIGSOUND was a great opportunity to have my mind bent by some of the Antipodes up and coming musos and ear bent by some of the most experienced industry people."
BIGSOUND 2011 dates are August 31 to September 2, 2011.
