Electric Mary have headed back to the studio to start work on a follow-up to 2008`s `Down to the Bone`.
Melbourne based Electric Mary features Rusty Brown, Irwin Thomas, Pete Robinson, Venom and Alex Raujak.The band formed in 2003 and has toured with Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Judas Priest and Whitesnake.
So far this year, Electric Mary have played in South Africa at the FIFA World Cup on a bill with Powderfinger and Fatboy Slim as well as Hellfest in France with Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Slash and Airbourne.
Some of the work for the next record was done in the Unites States.
Electric Mary have a few Australian shows before the end of 2010. Melbourne fans will find them at The Espy, St Kilda on September 11.
