Transplanted kiwi rock heroes Shihad return with album number eight - IGNITE.
Shihad have been super busy of late, since shifting labels to Roadrunner Records. They've just finished up performing a series of sold out shows based around the 'Don't Look Back' premise of playing albums in their entirety, in their case 1995's Killjoy and 1999's The General Electric.
Now they prepare to release IGNITE - in part, a return to their searching, epic alt-rock, which took a backseat for a couple of albums.
The album will hit the streets on September 24.
It'll be followed by a tour up and down the East Coast and to Adelaide with ambitious rockers Trial Kennedy and new act Black Devil Yard Boss featuring ex-members of Mammal.
Tickets are on sale now.
