The Australian album chart this week has an all-new Top 3 with Katy Perry, Disturbed and Jimmy Barnes taking up the top spots.
The much-hyped Katy Perry 'Teenage Dream' record, complete with marshmallow scented cover, earned the American popstar 14,681 sales.Disturbed 'Asylum' came in at number two selling 12,623 units.
Jimmy Barnes 'Rage and Ruin' was at number three on 9,861 sales.
Eminem 'Recovery' dropped back to no. 4 but then Children Collide scored the 5th spot with their second album 'Theory of Everything' selling 4,109 units.
However, in digital sales, Disturbed 'Asylum' was number one with 1979 downloads sold and Children Collide 'Theory of Everything' was number 2 with 1063 downloads sold.
The only other album to debut in the top 40 this week was Murderdolls 'Women and Children Last' at number 18.
