Mere weeks away from releasing his solo debut, Gareth Liddiard of The Drones announces a solo tour.
The album will be called Strange Tourist and is due out on October 1.He recorded it at the isolated Havilah retreat in rural Victoria, from whence the last Drones album took its name.
Now he's lined up a national tour throughout November to show it off, including many regional dates and winding up at the Queenscliff Music Festival.
Liddiard's no stranger to playing solo live, most recently performing alongside Booker Prize-winning UK author DBC Pierre at the Oxford Arts Factory.
