Green Day offered up treats to fans in Colorado: a new song and news of a live album.
When they performed for the people from Denver, they announced that they'll be recording a live album.They also played a new (or, shall we say "rare") song at the show, called 'Cigarettes And Valentines'.
Idolator informs us that the track was actually the title to an album which was recorded in 2003 but was never released because the master tapes were stolen.
Instead of rerecording that album, Green Day started again and wrote a little record called American Idiot.
Imagine that for a parallel universe.
This leads us to speculate that we'll hear the songs from Cigarettes And Valentines sometime soon, whether on a new recording or as part of this live record.
