Lil Wayne is planning to release his next album on the day of his release from prison.
President of Young Money Entertainment, Mack Maine revealed details of Wayne's album."Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put 'Tha Carter IV' out the day he comes out," he said. "He had so many songs for 'Tha Carter IV', we said let's just put these 10 songs out [on I Am Not a Human Being] and double-back for 'Tha Carter IV'. He has more songs for 'Tha Carter IV' that are still strong."
So just in case you missed it from that quote, the album will be called 'Tha Carter IV', which is a return to his series of 'Carter' albums. Earlier in 2010 he released an album 'Rebirth', which saw Lil Wayne make a brief foray into rock, but he's back doing what he does best this time around.
He is currently serving an eight month sentence in New York after being convicted of criminal possession of a weapon. He is due to be released on November 5.
