Scott Weiland fell off the stage whilst strutting his stuff at a show in Cincinnati, taking a nasty whack from the security barrier.
The incident was captured on a mobile phone camera and uploaded onto YouTube for the world to see.The band were playing the track 'Crackerman' off their 1992 debut 'Core' when Weiland fell down. With the assistance of security, he jumped back on stage after a minute or so and continued the track without missing a beat, suggesting that he was in fact miming.
He appeared to be unharmed during the incident.
Stone Temple Pilots are heavily rumoured to be headlining the 2011 Big Day Out in Australia. It would be the first time the band have made it down under.
