The litany of summer festivals never ends, with N*E*R*D, The Temper Trap, Chromeo kicking off Pyramid Rock.
The list of acts for Philip Island's Pyramid Rock New Year's fest is pretty familiar for those who have been keeping up with the December visitors.But there are some surprises, such as Welsh rock ruffians Future Of The Left and hippie hip hop crew Arrested Development.

Neon Indian, Shout Out Louds, Mystery Jets, Xavier Rudd, Basement Birds, Lightspeed Champion, Tinie Tempah, Spit Syndicate, Built To Spill, Violent Soho, Hungry Kids Of Hungary, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Gypsy And The Cat, The John Steel Singers, Trentemoller, Liam Finn, Little Red, Jebediah, Lowrider, Tumbleweed, Horrorshow, Miami Horror, Urthboy and Gyroscope.
Patrons who attended last year will get a discount due to the lightning storm that cancelled some acts on the main stage in 2009.
It will run from December 29 to January 1 and tickets are available from September 19.
