Preparing for the release of his ninth album, UK electro producer Tricky debuts a new video clip.
The pugilistic new video is for 'Murder Weapon', a single based around the theme from Peter Gunn that also reworks a '90s tune by Jamaican dancehall artist Echo Minott.Like his work with Martina Topley-Bird on the 'Black Steel' cover, he has enlisted another female vocalist.
This time it's Irish-Italian Franky Riley who has been his touring vocalist for the last couple of years.
'Murder Weapon' is the first single from his ninth studio album Mixed Race.
Along with Riley, he's worked with Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream, Terry Lynn, Hakim Hamadouche, Blackman, and his youngest brother Marlon Thaws.
It'll be released on Domino Records on September 24.
