Melbourne pop-rockers are set to release their fourth album digitally for free, with a deluxe version for cash.
The album was recorded live at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club and was mixed at Abbey Road. It's ostensibly self-titled and the band are approaching the release in a different way.
They're creating only 300 physical copies, which will be extra-special editions.
You'll get a CD and a vinyl record, numbered and signed by each member, a 16-page full colour booklet, two bonus tracks and a 40-page photo book of the band.
But if you don't want to shell out, The Basics will give it to you for free.
Head over to FreeBasicsAlbum.com to download the 14-track record, where it almost kinda has a name… a phonetic descriptor pronounced 'Da Baz-itch'.
