Soundgarden strike a deal to bundle copies of their new retrospective CD with copies of the new Guitar Hero.
As grunge flag-bearers (who were really a hard rock band), Soundgarden have reunited and will put out their first release in 14 years.It's called Telephantasm and will collect eleven hits and fan favourites, as well as an unheard track from the Badmotorfinger sessions called 'Black Rain'.
It will also be a bonus present for those about to rock with the new edition of Guitar Hero, called Warriors Of Rock.
The game will be release on September 27 and one million games will have a Telephantasm tucked in.
Of course, twelve tunes isn't nearly enough to cover Soundgarden's career, so for just a few bucks extra, you can buy one of three expanded version.
The first will be a double-disc with an extra twelve tracks, five (versions) of which are previously unreleased, as well as their first DVD with 20 videos.
There'll be a Deluxe 3-LP vinyl version of the above.
Then there's the big mother: the Super Deluxe Collector's Edition, containing two CDs, the DVD, three vinyl discs, a poster, lithographs and more.
